1Africa Consulting is a strategic brand communications agency that offers bespoke integrated professional services and purposeful initiatives aimed at creating meaningful value, positive impact and sustainable growth outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.
About 1Africa Consulting
Founded in 2020, 1Africa Consulting is a 100% black female owned company with combined communications and business experience of over 30 years. Our core team is highly skilled in brand and corporate communications, stakeholder mapping and engagement, crisis communication, brand positioning, media relations and marketing. Our extended network includes specialists – from digital marketing natives to conceptual designers – and everything in between.
We offer custom-developed communication services for public, private and non-profit organisations, with a specific focus on brands that have an African footprint.
We take an innovative approach and offer both proven best-practice solutions, as well as out-of-the-box strategies to suit client and campaign objectives. We believe that effective communication requires a personal touch, and this approach comes through in both in our relationships with our clients, as well as the work we do on behalf of our clients. While we are a professional business-focused services agency, we also see ourselves as part of the larger African socio-economic eco-system. As such, we strive to instill purpose in all that we do.
This takes the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that we lead as an organisation, as well as our mission to inspire our clients to explore ways to contribute to positive social impact that ties in with their business and brand goals.
What makes us different
Purpose & Corporate Social Responsibility
We believe that business success and positive social impact are not mutually exclusive. We therefore consider ways in which to promote purposeful positive outcomes through business activities. This includes finding integrated solutions to drive existing client CSR initiatives, as well as developing strategic, sustainable CSR opportunities for both private and public organisations. Such impact outcomes include: skills development, job creation, infrastructural development, behavioural change and various social upliftment causes.
Expertise, Experience & The Personal Touch
We are not your average service provider – we see ourselves as an extension of our clients’ brands. We partner with our clients for a common goal – the successful execution of communication projects. Our desired positioning is that of a trusted adviser, going the extra mile and providing a personal touch.
Innovation & Future-Forward Thinking
We see innovation as more than just technology – innovation is about finding better ways to communicate, connect and do business. It’s about taking an agile approach that allows us to adapt and adjust solutions to suit changing dynamics when it comes to client needs, industry trends and market behaviour. We want our clients to view their partnership with us as “future-proof”- because we are committed to keeping the conversation open and working together to develop the best solutions for any given point in time. #ChallengeAccepted
