Building local community relationships can be the most important communication activity undertaken by an organisation, yet it is often overlooked. 1Africa Foundation is a division of 1Africa Consulting that focuses on corporate social responsible initiatives for women and girls across Africa. The foundation’s focal point is community relations aimed at establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with the communities within which we operate. As a result, we have partnered with Dear Bella, a South African sanitary towel brand run by Matefo Morakeng, which aims to bring quality, affordable sanitary towels to young girls across the country. We have pledged to sponsor 100 girls every month, and plan to increase our support as our business grows. 1Africa Foundation is also passionate about educating communities through the following key focus areas, Health and Wellbeing, Education and Youth Empowerment and Community Development.
