The 1Africa Consulting team recently attended the Free-State Market Access Expo held in
Bloemfontein. The aim of the expo was to create a platform for business empowerment by
connecting entrepreneurs, small businesses and aspiring young entrepreneurs with other
businesses, organisations, government bodies and enterprise development specialists in order to
foster increased economic activities.
1Africa Consulting participated in the exhibition component of the event, and had the opportunity to
network with businesses across a wide range of industries, including agriculture, logistics,
manufacturing and retail. We also participated in one-on-one sessions with foreign ambassadors
keen to work with local companies and build trade and business relations.
Events such as these are valuable in stimulating much needed interaction and networking between
small businesses and larger organisations as it promotes collaboration that contributes to the
country (and continent’s) economic growth. The 1Africa Consulting team looks forward to
participating in similar events in the future.
